 COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE

Communities of Practice (CoPs) are a time and place for front line youth workers, program directors, and executive level directors to gather with their peers, share their work, learn from each other and move their programs to new levels of quality. CoPs are free and open to any member of the Cambridge Out-of-School-Time professional community!

STEAM Curriculum Building CoP Cohort 1, session 3

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The Curriculum Building CoP is a collaborative space for Front Line Staff and Program Directors to connect with one another, problem solve, and build our capacity to adapt into remote learning for our young people.

In each 2 hour session, we will practice a new technological skill, learn teaching strategies to be implemented directly into the virtual classroom, co-work, and adapt best youth workers to serve young people now.
This is a time when we can give young people the opportunity to show us their abilities in problem solving. We know STEAM programming works because it speaks to young people’s abilities to reimagine possibility and implement creative solutions. We are watching how science and social activism are coming together to keep us safe. How can we support one another and young people to be the problem solvers we need in this COVID-19 world?
